DiVe (DIgital VEndor) Introduction

Today’s intelligent vending systems are not the ordinary snack dispensers we all grew up with. Vending technology is evolving quickly, and new machines are engaging shoppers like never before with touch-screen controls, inventory management system and cashless payment. Most vending machines today focus on collecting money, providing change, and dispensing products.

Our approach aims at creating a next generation vending machine connected to the internet and capable of dispensing products 24x7 at the touch of a button. All the transactions are done electronically making it more secure and convenient. The not only decreases the cost associated with operating the machine but also makes inventory management easier. 

The machine will be able dispense all sorts of goods that we design it for without the use of cash to promote the Government lead campaign of “Digital India.”  Digital transactions with the use of mobile wallets like paytm will be used to ease the life of the college students. The machine would be able to work 24x7 without constant surveillance. It will be able to alert the one managing the device when any good is running short instantly to avoid “Out of stock” inconvenience to the users. Once the machine is installed at the right locations, it will be able to serve people to ease their stressful lives cashlessly.

Currently in development by group of four tech enthusiasts from BITS Pilani Goa, we focus on creating disruptive products that can change the lives of students in our college campus and beyond for better.
